Senior High School (SHS) covers Grades 11 and 12, the final stage of the K to 12 Basic Education Program. It is designed to prepare students for multiple pathways after graduation—higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and middle-level skills.
Under the Strengthened SHS Curriculum, learning is built around Core Subjects and Elective Clusters. Core subjectsare taken by all SHS students and develop essential skills in communication, language and literacy, mathematics, science, social sciences, values formation, physical education, and health.
Students then choose one of two main tracks:
Academic Track – designed for learners planning to pursue college programs and careers that require strong academic foundations and analytical thinking.
Technical-Professional (TechPro) Track – designed for learners who prefer hands-on, skills-based learning aligned with real workplace competencies and industry practices.
Within each track, students select Elective Clusters that match their interests and career goals. These electives provide focused learning experiences, applied projects, and career-oriented preparation while maintaining a strong foundation for future college and career options.
